OpenAI could be ready for a share listing in 2027

OpenAI president Greg Brockman said the company could be ready for an initial public offering (IPO) in 2027. He spoke at a technology conference held by the Wall Street Journal on Wednesday.

Brockman also spoke about OpenAI's gains in the enterprise market, which means sales to businesses. He said the company had been gaining ground there.

Rival AI company Anthropic had already made inroads in that market, according to the original report of the talk.
