Tshwane says water supply is stabilising but reservoirs stay low
The City of Tshwane says three reservoirs are critically low: Soshanguve L Tower at 6%, Klapperkop in Region Three at 5% and Magalies/Rosslyn at 16%. The city is working with Rand Water to balance supply.
The city said it is working with Rand Water, the bulk water supplier, to balance supply and manage restrictions. It asked residents to use water only for essential needs.
Officials said infrastructure failures, reduced bulk water supply and high consumption have made it harder to restore reliable supply.
